How do I unlock my Cricket Wireless phone using the app?

Some Android phones must be unlocked using the cricket app. If you tried to unlock your phone in My Account but received an error, follow these steps to unlock your phone using the myCricket app:

1. Request an unlock service at https://kronu.us/deviceunlock
2. Wait for the email confirmation saying that your phone its permanently unlocked.
3. Open your myCricket app.
4. Sign out of the app if you’re signed in.
5. Tap Unlock Device on the app’s sign-in screen.
6. Tap Unlock at the bottom of the screen.
7. Once your phone is successfully unlocked, restart it to complete the process.

For all phones except iPhone:

1. Request an unlock service at https://kronu.us/deviceunlock
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Remove your SIM Card and enter a new SIM Card from another carrier.
4. Turn your phone back on.
5. Follow the prompts and enter the unlock code.
6. Restart your phone to complete the unlock process.

For all phones except iPhone:

1. Request an unlock service at https://kronu.us/deviceunlock After you submit the request, it might take a few days to complete.
2. 1. After your carrier confirms that they unlocked your iPhone, follow the steps below.

    

   If you have a SIM card from a carrier other than your current carrier

   Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:

   1. Remove your SIM card and insert the new one.
   2. Set up your iPhone again.

    

   If you don’t have another SIM card to use

   Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:

   1. Back up your iPhone.
   2. After you make a backup, erase your iPhone.
   3. Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made.
